Ayia Napa is famed for its long sandy beaches and its very active nightlife.

But this old former village offers more than just sunbathing and heavy clubbing: A picturesque fishing harbour, a medieval monastery and a brand new, very modern Museum of Maritime Life with a replica of an old greek ship as its main attraction.

One can spend a whole day in the Water Park and an evening or two in the Fun Parks of the resort.

In the area around Ayia Napa Guests have many possibilities for short excursions or bike rides along the coast or to the surrounding villages.
On such an excursion you can visit some of the ancient tiny Byzantine churches of the area, the impressive rock formations along the coast, the picturesque fishing shelter of Potamos or the vast potato fields. Nature around Ayia Napa has remained quite unspoiled.
